Quality without the upload
Mynify uses a two-pass palette (generating an optimized color palette, then applying it) for cleaner color than a naive conversion, scaled to a sensible 480px at 12 fps. GIFs are limited to 256 colors by design, so they shine on short clips — a few seconds of a reaction, a demo, or a loop.
Keep it small
GIFs balloon quickly. For the best result:
- Trim first to the few seconds that matter.
- Shorter, lower-motion clips make smaller, smoother GIFs.
