Get the exact dimensions you need
Whether it’s a 1080×1080 square for Instagram, a banner at a fixed width, an avatar that must be 400×400, or a photo that’s simply too large to upload, resizing is one of the most common image jobs — and Mynify does it in a couple of clicks, without uploading your file anywhere.
Keep it sharp, keep the shape
Enter a width, a height, or both. With Keep aspect ratio on (the default), you can type just one dimension and Mynify works out the other so your image never looks stretched or squashed. Need to fit a strict box? Turn the option off and set exact width and height.
Shrinking an image stays crisp because you’re throwing detail away, not inventing it. The reverse — blowing a small image up much larger — can look soft, since a plain resize can’t add detail that isn’t there. For genuine enlargement, an AI upscaler (coming soon to Mynify) reconstructs detail far better.
Private by default
Most online resizers upload your photo to their servers first. Mynify decodes and redraws the image on your device using the browser’s own canvas, so nothing is transmitted. That matters for personal photos, ID pictures, screenshots and anything you’d rather not hand to a stranger’s server.
Tips
- Resize before you compress. Fewer pixels means a smaller file and a faster page — pair this with the image compressor for the smallest result.
- Match the target exactly. Platforms crop or pad off-size images; hitting the intended dimensions keeps your framing.
- Keep the original. Resizing is one-way — hold on to the full-size file if you might need it later.
