WebP to JPG, in your browser
WebP is excellent for the web — small files, good quality — but it isn’t universal. Some older desktop software, printers, and email clients still can’t open it, and a few upload forms reject it. Converting to JPG solves that instantly: JPG is the most widely supported image format there is, readable by every device, app and service.
Mynify converts on your device using the browser’s own image engine, so your file is never uploaded to a server. Transparent areas (WebP supports transparency) are placed on a white background, since JPG can’t store transparency — if you need transparency preserved, convert to PNG instead.
When to use it
- Sending to someone on older software that doesn’t recognise WebP.

Tip
If your goal is the smallest possible photo that still opens everywhere, convert to JPG and then run it through the image compressor. Keep your original WebP if you’ll use it on the web, where it’s the better choice.
