WebP to PNG, on your device
WebP is compact and modern, but when you need lossless quality or a format that older tools reliably accept, PNG is the safe target — and crucially, it keeps transparency, which JPG can’t. Converting WebP to PNG is the right move for logos, icons, product cutouts and any graphic you’ll edit further.
Mynify converts in your browser using the browser’s own PNG encoder, so your image is never uploaded. Transparent pixels are preserved exactly.
When to use it
- Graphics with transparent backgrounds — logos, stickers, UI assets.
- Editing — work in lossless PNG so repeated saves don’t degrade quality.
- Tools that require PNG — some design apps and upload fields only accept it.
Note that for photographs, PNG files are usually larger than the WebP or JPG equivalents — PNG shines for graphics, not photos. If your goal is a small file that still supports transparency, WebP is actually the better format for the web.
